Based on the field test, the experts said that the erosion of the No. 649 island in Halong Bay is completely a natural phenomenon, caused by tectonic movement in the bay.

In addition, factors such as rain, storms, waves, wind and sea water corrosion are small agents that triggered the landslides. The institute will further analyze and report the results in detail as soon as possible.
